Frequently Asked Questions
GENERAL
What is your photography style?
My passion is capturing genuine connection and emotion. I use a natural, artistic, and timeless approach, no stiff or forced poses. Instead, I create a comfortable environment where your unique story unfolds naturally. My goal is to deliver images that feel real, heartfelt, and true to you.
Where in Los Angeles do you typically shoot?
Los Angeles offers endless variety! Some of my favorite spots include the beaches from Marina del Rey to Malibu, the charm of Old Pasadena, the urban energy of Downtown LA, and the natural beauty of Pacific Palisades. I’ll help you choose the perfect location to match your vision.
What is the typical turnaround time for receiving our photos?
For portraits and family sessions, galleries are usually ready within 3–10 days. For weddings, you’ll receive your full gallery in 6–8 weeks. I always send a sneak peek of a few edited photos within 48–72 hours so you have something special to share right away.
How do we receive our final images?
You’ll receive a private, password-protected online gallery. From there, you can view, download, and share all your high-resolution images. Professional-quality prints and albums are also available directly through the gallery.
Do you require a deposit to book a session?
Yes, a non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to secure your date. This ensures your spot in my calendar.
WEDDING & COUPLES
Do you offer a second photographer or videographer for weddings?
Yes! I offer packages with a second shooter, which I highly recommend for larger weddings or when couples want different angles covered: such as both partners getting ready. Videography can also be arranged upon request.
How many photos will we receive from our wedding day?
The final number depends on your package and hours of coverage. On average, a full-day wedding yields 500–800+ beautifully edited images. My focus is always on quality over quantity.
MATERNITY & FAMILY
When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
The ideal time is between 30–34 weeks, when your baby bump is round and visible but you’re still comfortable moving around.
What should we wear for our family photo session?
Neutral tones, soft colors, and simple patterns always photograph beautifully. Avoid overly busy prints or everyone wearing the exact same outfit. I also provide a style guide to help you coordinate your family’s wardrobe effortlessly.
PORTRAITS & HEADSHOTS
Can you help me with posing? I feel a bit awkward in front of the camera.
Absolutely! I guide all my clients with natural posing and simple prompts, so you’ll never feel stiff or unsure. My goal is to highlight your personality and confidence while making the process easy and enjoyable.
